In the existing substations, extend and/or upgrade electrical equipment. Katse substation required an extension block retaining wall. Polihali substation and equipment was constructed new.
This project involved the upgrading of six existing electrical substations in and around the Katze region to cater for the new Phase 2 of the Lesotho Highlands Water Scheme It also involved the construction and fitting out of equipment at the new Polihali substation
